| Toni Lee |
|
This isn't just your typical songbird. She discovered her talentand love for music when she was 8 years old. During a familyvacation, little ToniLee picked up her mother's guitar one evening in front of the campfire and played every song her mother knew. Her mother immediately gave ToniLee the guitar and she has played ever since! ToniLee went on to train in opera through college and sing in rock & roll bands. She became a member of an all female band in Washington D.C and won the Washington Area Music Association ( Wammie) for best vocalist in the rock category, alongside Mary Chapin Carpenter, who won for country. She went on the road during most of the late eighties and 90's, complete with big hair and spandex, fronting an "A" circuit touring rock band, CamelToe. Since then, ToniLee has discovered her love for blues and has fronted several bands such as "The Mojo Kings", "The ToniLee Band" , and currently "The Delta Dogs." While living in Florida, ToniLee was dubbed " The Emerald Coast's Favorite Female Solo Artist." Whether performing the powerful soul of the blues, melting your heart with your favorite love song, or singing floksy rock n roll, seasoned musician ToniLee will mesmerize you with her sultry voice. ToniLee truly loves the stage and has a unique ability to capture an audience and draw them into her world. She feels if any person has time to watch, she owes them a performance they will never forget!
